American Bresse are a dual purpose heritage chicken breed originally from France. They are known for succulent meat and intramuscular fat deposits. They're one of the best eating breeds around. They can be harvested between 14 and 16 weeks and will weigh around 4-6 lbs dressed.
The cost is $7 per chick. Breeding selection favoring winter layers, smaller combs for our Northern winters, quick growth rate, fine bones and standard of perfection.
Day old chicks will be available April through July. Upon ordering, I will contact you about the next available hatch date.
